Budiak's Bag: Items 3-6
Item Three: Three Icepicks
Three Icepicks.
I bought these icepicks at an antique shop. You seem a lot less of a weirdo when
you have antique icepicks laying around the house. The uses of these are limitless.
They can be used to puncture the kidneys of a starvation-crazed wanderer or to put
a nice hole through the head of a zombie that's pinned under an overturned car. It
can also be used as awls, etching tools, knitting needles, and to break up large
uncuppable blocks of ice. This item's being in triplicate speaks for itself.
Item Four: Shotgun Shells
Five 00 Buck Shotgun Shells
For Traps. The potential is limitless.
Item Five: Glucose Tablets
Grape Flavored Dextrose
There's no room for food in this streamlined survival outfit. There's really no reason to bring food along anyways becasuse there will be plenty of uneaten food and undrunk water around because within 48 hours 70% of the population is going to be dead.
Item Six: Electrical Tape
Weighs Less than Duct Tape and Almost as Useful.
You could call this the rennaissance man of electrical tools. It can be used for everything duct tape can be used for, save perhaps fixing a duct. It can patch shoes, bind up wounds, make finger splints, affix the little red straw to a bottle of WD-40 so you don't lose it which you always do, be fashioned into a jaunty eyepatch, and can actually bind electric connections. Most things don't do what they say. Electrical tape breaks that mold.
